- On certain road star warrior motorcycles, the lead wires for the pick-up coil can break while the engine is running, causing the engine to stall and be impossible to restart.
- Consequence:
- If this occurs while the motorcycle is being ridden, a vehicle crash could occur.
- Correction:
- Dealers will replace the pick-up coil. the recall began on march 2, 2007. owners may contact yamaha at 1-800-227-5963.
